Oil War? The war in Iraq?

I live in Texas. All my friends support president bush, I guess they just think he's a cool sounding guy, the kind of guy they might want to get a burger with. They think that the war in iraq is a good thing, and so do their parents. Then i noticed something: all these people drive big cars! hummers, suburbans, all sorts of thing with less than 15 mph. Do they like him because they feel he will win them oil? And why did bush go to war in the first place? Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. But they do have a large supply of oil....
