Zoology Question What do I need to do?

You will have required cles for you major...so you will not pick them, they will tell you what you need to take. You will have some freedom in picking cles once you start doing your upper division cles, so you can pick what interests you the most or what you think would be the most helpful in pursuing your career. I really suggest you get some hands on experience. It counts just as much as a degree in this line of work. Start checking your local zoos, animal sanctuaries, nature centers, etc. for volunteer work or internship opportunities. This field is very competitive, so don't just set your sights on one job at one zoo..most likely it will not happen. You need to be VERY flexible in your skills and what jobs you will take.
