Should we rent a car for our trip to Miami?

A cab will run about $75-$80 plus tip from FLL to SoBe. A reserved shuttle or limo will run about $35 or so per person depending on company. If you have three people to split the cab that'll be a better deal. Tri-County Express picks up outside arrivals without reservation & is advertising about $18.00 a person but you have to wait until they get a load & drop people off. People have complained about the wait. If you're just going to stay on Miami Beach a car us worse than useless -- because of the parking expense -- & a cab or limo will be a better deal. Everything in SoBe is either within walking distance or accessible by the 25 cent South Beach shuttle.
