I want to transfer back to my public high school but my mother won't let me?

I have been attending a vocational high school for the past two and a half months. I love what it has to offer (journalism, tv production, etc), and the cles and teachers. However, I am starting to dislike school. Because it is so small and clique-y, I have begun to feel self conscious. I feel like people are always talking about me. I've slipped behind in my studies. I'm barely getting two hours of sleep a night due to the amount of work. I'm so stressed, and I am running on empty. My health teacher has actually contacted my mother saying that she is worrying about me. I have approached my mother about going back to the public high school, but she has made it clear that she won't let me transfer. Honestly, I really just want to switch schools right now. I have never had any of these problems until this year. Is there anything I can do to change my mother's mind? And if she won't let up on her decision, what can I do to handle the stress?
