Did you know that for over 200 years you could pay your taxes with cannabis(aka hemp, marijuana)?

Very interesting information that was totally new to me. When I was in college there was a saying people used in a joking manner. They said, "We buy you books & buy you books & send you to school & all you do is tear out the pages & eat them." They were implying that we were not studying. Maybe we were getting more benefit from those books than at first met the eye.
