This whole Don Imus situation, and Al Sharpton...?

Do you beleive the whole situation was blown out of proportion, and mishandled? I am not trying to be insensitive here, but what Don said was distastefull. I do not really listen to Don. But from what I was told that is persona on the radio to be a outspoken, rough, but funny person. But I do not think racisit. With Al, and Jesse using the media to exploit this, and make a witch hunt of this; I don't think was right. I mean instead of focusing on discrimination. It seems they were doing the opposite, defacto discrimination. Also seems that they were creating a rift, and not working towards equallity; just the opposite. Now I am not saying they are bad people. They are good people. With a good purpose. But don't you think if they cohabitate, and work together they can do a lot more? Don Imus did appoligize. I mean it is hard to work with people who you don't get along with. But try maybe. Any input be great. Thanks.
