What is it?

Every once in awhile my dog vomits and it's yellow and foamy. What could it be? Is it bile or because she cleans herself maybe it's a hairball of some sort? Do dogs even get hair? She's 2 years old and is a chihuahua that weighs 6 pounds. She's always done this. Does anybody else's dog do this regularly?
