Florida Prorated rent and vacating?

Wrong, Daisy. If you give your notice to vacate on March 10, you get to pay all of April's rent. You're not renting a hotel room by the day. You are renting an apartment by the MONTH. Since it is now past March 1, you can give your notice any time before the end of March, and move out whenever you desire. BUT, your landlord is not required to prorate April's rent.
